Subramani (48) was found lifeless in an Ashok Leyland mini tempo near Aroor village, Peresandra police probe possible murder and personal angle
The deceased has been identified as Subramani (48), a resident of Devanahalli, who earned his livelihood by renting out his Ashok Leyland mini tempo.
A search was launched, and his tempo was later found parked near the Bengaluru–Hyderabad National Highway (NH-44), where his body was discovered inside the vehicle under suspicious circumstances.
“There is suspicion over his death. It needs a thorough investigation,” family sources indicated.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine whether:
- The death was natural,
- A case of suicide, or
- A murder followed by abandonment of the body and vehicle.
Further forensic examination and postmortem reports are awaited to establish the exact cause of death.
Separate Incident: Biker Killed in Vijayanagar District
The deceased has been identified as Kiran (27), a resident of Gunda Tanda, who was reportedly travelling to Hospet to purchase medicines.
Officials from Mariyammana Halli Police Station, along with senior officers including CPI Vikas Lamani, visited the spot and initiated an investigation.
The lorry driver has been taken in for questioning as police probe the circumstances leading to the accident.
