Davanagere: A shocking and emotionally charged incident has emerged from Karnataka’s Davanagere district, where a 26-year-old married woman, Kavya, was found dead under suspicious circumstances barely two years after her marriage. What initially appeared to be a personal tragedy has now taken a dramatic turn after the discovery of a pen drive allegedly containing sensitive information, prompting fresh scrutiny from investigators.
According to available reports, Kavya, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in Davanagere, had married Madhu, a native of Honnigere village, around two years ago. The couple’s marriage was reportedly solemnised with family approval, and relatives had expected them to lead a peaceful life.
However, sources indicate that the relationship had recently come under strain. Family members of the deceased have now raised serious allegations, claiming that Kavya had been facing emotional distress and domestic issues in the marital home.
Kavya was reportedly found dead in suspicious circumstances, sending shockwaves across the locality. As soon as the information reached police authorities, officers rushed to the spot and began an initial probe. Her body was later shifted for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Police have not ruled out any angle at this stage, and both accidental and suspicious death possibilities are being examined.
